MIH has been in business since 2010.
Unlike most dealerships, MIH Powersports' technicians do not get paid "flat rate" which is the dealer's way of pushing the techs to cut corners and not do the job thoroughly (since they get paid less). MIH doesn't have service writers who get bonuses for up-selling things you don't need.
At MIH Powersports, we do the job we say we are going to do.
MIH attempts to get every job done as soon as possible. We have space issues often, so this is doubly in our best interest. These days, there are sometimes parts delays at either at the warehouses or the shipping companies (we have seen this all too much as of late) causing scheduling problems and unwanted setbacks in getting a repair completed.
Torque wrenches are used on critical fasteners (and many other fasteners that we probably don't need to, but we do anyway). We have personally seen a lack of torque wrench use at other shops where we have worked. And we have seen issues of critical fasteners being over or under-torqued causing problems.
During certain times of the year, we sometimes cannot take on every job proposed to us. We reserve the right to decline any proposed work due to one or more of the following factors: type of job, age of bike, time of year, scheduling, or other issues. Our policy is not to undertake the job at all in these circumstances so as to not compromise our principles.
